Since 2022, Sue \u00a0no longer performs Bariatric Surgery in order to focus on her new roles. She is now working as the Director of Clinical Training at Geraldton Hospital, supervising interns, Resident Medical Officers and International Medical Graduates. She is also a Medical Coordinator for the Rural Clinical School in Geraldton, teaching medical students in their final two years of study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In March 2023, she ceased General Surgical operations including Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, open and laparoscopic hernia repair, pilonidal sinus, haemorrhoids and hiatal hernia repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She operated at&nbsp;<a style=\"font-style: normal; line-height: 24px; text-decoration: underline;\" rel=\"noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sjog.org.au\/hospitals\/subiaco.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">St John of God Hospital, Subiaco<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a title=\"Bethesda Hospital\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bethesda.asn.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">She is accredited at Bethesda Hospital, Claremont&nbsp;<\/a>and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hollywood.ramsayhealth.com.au\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hollywood Hospital, Nedlands<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She trained in Perth at Sir Charles Gairdner, Osborne Park, Royal Perth and Fremantle Hospitals from 1992 to 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After gaining Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in&nbsp;2001, she continued to serve the public hospital system, participating in&nbsp;undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2002, she spent 12 months working with Professor Sir Alfred Cuschieri&nbsp;at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, Scotland.
